The golf course ‘Los Palos’, with its gentle slope, is ideal for players who want to practice and improve their short game, beginners, complete families or people with little time available. Agile and dynamic rounds make this 9 hole PAR 27 course a place where you can always play comfortably. We are open 365 days a year so that you can enjoy this magnificent outdoor sport in Tenerife at any time.
Opened in December 1994, it was designed by the prestigious golf player José María Olazábal (Integral Golf Design) in an area with very easy access, pleasant temperatures and generally without wind. The golf course ‘Los Palos’ is approved by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and it has also been approved as a Pitch & Putt, another golf modality that is becoming more and more popular.
From the clubhouse, which has a large terrace, you can see the course and the practice area. There is a very pleasant atmosphere where, in addition to golf, you can enjoy a restaurant, a golf shop, showers and changing rooms.
The complex also has a golf school, with PGA professionals, with driving range, chipping y putting green where individual or group classes are given in several languages.
In our facilities you will find a pleasant walk with different options: 9 holes (1 hour) or 18 holes (2 hours and 15 minutes), depending on the time you have available and a place where everyone can enjoy from the newest to the professionals.

TECHNICAL EXPLANATION OF THE COURSE
The total distance from yellow tee boxes is 979m and from red tee boxes 890m, which makes the course quite flat and pleasant. Normally in less than an hour and a half you will have finished the round, always with an ideal temperature for the practice of this sport.

HOLE 1
The first hole of the course is characterized by its lake on the left side of the fairway and two bunkers, one on the right protecting the green and another at the end of it. On the right side of the fairway there is a rough and a red volcanic picón area with palm trees (Syagrus romanzoffiana- Coco Plumoso) that delimits the out of bounds with the fence that separates the golf course from the driving range.

HOLE 2
The shortest hole on the course, but not the easiest to play because of the two bunkers that protect the green at the entrance with only 3 meters of space between them, leaving an access to the green from the front. The fairway is bordered on both sides by areas of rough and trees, predominantly of the Schefflera arborícola.

HOLE 3
Without a doubt, one of the most complicated holes of the course with a small green and a bunker right at the entrance. It has a lot of vegetation on both sides of the fairway, mainly different varieties of palms and Schinus Molle, and also on the right side of the fairway it has rough and the same out of bounds as holes 1 and 2.
The first three holes have out of bounds on the right side of the rough with the same fence separating the course from the driving range.

HOLE 4
Considered the most difficult hole on the course due to its length, it is accompanied by a green protected by two bunkers on both sides. The out of bounds of this hole is located on the right side of the fairway, delimited by an outer fence and an area of plants behind the green. This hole tests the precision of the players in the short game and forces you to give a good shot and control the ball on the green.

HOLE 5
The difficulty of this hole consists of a dry lagoon that runs from the tee to the middle of the fairway and runs along the entire right side of the fairway to the green. On the left side of the fairway we find a garden native to Canary Islands with species such as Tabaibas, Aulagas, Verodes, Dragos, etc. The green is very wide, but with little depth and a bunker behind it on the left side.

HOLE 6
A relatively easy hole with a green and a steep slope, which makes it difficult to stop the ball on the green in one shot. With a dry lagoon on the right side of the fairway, and a group of different palm and coconut trees on the left.

HOLE 7
High starting tee, overlooking the Teide and with a tree on the right side that takes away the view of the hole. Wide green with little depth and a pronounced piano. A grass bunker (rough) just in front of the green and with lots of vegetation on both sides of the fairway. Out of bounds on the right bounded by an outer wall.

HOLE 8
Considered the easiest hole on the course with a high starting tee and a large green protected by a bunker on the left side. The green has a pronounced piano with a drop from right to left. Abundant palm trees on the tee and a fairway with diverse vegetation on both sides.

HOLE 9
Uphill hole with the green on top and a magnificent view of the Clubhouse with the Teide in the background. A lake dominates the left side of the fairway and at the entrance of the green there is a bunker on the left side of the fairway. On the right hand side there is abundant vegetation on volcanic rock which ends with a pine forest on the right side of the green.
